Dry Ice
Machine Hire
Dance your first dance on a cloud — a thick, low-lying fog that hugs the floor and turns your moment into pure magic.
Dancing
on a Cloud
Our dry ice machine hire Sydney service creates a dense, low-lying fog that hugs the floor rather than rising into the air — the famous "dancing on a cloud" effect you've seen at unforgettable first dances.
Because the fog stays low and never billows upward, it won't trigger smoke alarms — making dry ice effects the venue-friendly choice for hotels, reception centres and function rooms across Sydney.
The result is a rolling white cloud beneath your feet: breathtaking in person, and even more spectacular in your photos and video.

Why Choose Dry Ice Effects
for Your Sydney Event?
Unlike conventional smoke or haze machines, dry ice produces a heavy, low-lying fog that stays at floor level. It doesn't rise, it doesn't linger in the air, and it doesn't set off smoke alarms — it simply rolls across the floor like a living cloud, then disappears without a trace.
Every hire is professionally handled by Pro DJs Australia, so the effect fires at exactly the right moment — the first beat of your first dance, the reveal at a product launch, or the drop at your party.
Feature-Packed Fog &
Smoke Technology
Adjustable Fog Density
Output is fully adjustable, from a subtle floor mist to a thick rolling cloud — matched to your venue and your moment.
Continuous Low-Lying Effect
A sustained blanket of fog that holds at floor level for the duration of your first dance or feature moment.
DMX-Controlled
Professional DMX control means precise, on-cue operation — the cloud appears at exactly the right beat.
Won't Trigger Smoke Alarms
The fog stays low and never rises to ceiling level, so venue smoke detectors are not set off.
Setup & Teardown Included
With our operated packages, we handle delivery, setup and pack down — you don't lift a finger.
Professional Operator Included
Our operated hire packages include an experienced professional to run the machine safely and on cue.
Safe, Non-Toxic Low-Lying Fog Effects
Dry ice is simply frozen carbon dioxide (CO2). The fog it creates is non-toxic and completely odourless — safe for you and your guests.
It leaves no residue on the dancefloor, your gown or your venue, and it causes no breathing issues. When the moment passes, the cloud simply disappears — as if it was never there.
