Celebrate a Milestone in Style with Pro DJs Australia
Turning 50, 60, or 70 is no small feat, and it deserves more than a quiet dinner. Whether it’s a laid-back gathering or a full-blown party, our professional DJs know how to make your milestone birthday one to remember.
With a deep library of music from the ’60s to the present, we tailor the soundtrack to suit the crowd, vibe, and your personal preferences. Want to relive the disco days? Or mix in some modern hits for the grandkids? We’ll strike the perfect balance.
Tailored Music for Every Generation
Our DJs come prepared with music that spans the decades — from soul, funk and Motown to pub rock, 80s anthems, and today’s singalongs. And if there are a few tracks that mean something special to you, just let us know.
We also use Vibo, our interactive music planning app, so family and friends can easily add song suggestions ahead of time.
A 50th room grew up on the 90s. Expect Britpop, early dance, R&B and the singles everyone knows the words to — with 80s and current tracks either side to bring the whole guest list along.
A 60th sits squarely in the 80s. Big pop choruses, Aussie pub rock, Motown and disco carry the night, and there is usually a stretch of 70s soul that fills the floor faster than anything else.
A 70th leans on the 60s and 70s — Motown, rock & roll, soul and disco — played at a level people can still talk over, then lifted once the speeches and cake are done.
Professional DJs Who Know the Crowd
We’re not hobbyists — we’re experienced DJs who know how to read a room and keep the energy flowing. Whether it’s background music during dinner or packing the dance floor later in the night, we know when to dial it up and when to keep it classy.
You’ll also get:
- Quality sound and lighting equipment
- Setup and pack-down handled for you
- MC services if needed
- Peace of mind knowing your DJ will be early, professional, and ready to go
Want to add something extra? Have a look at our event add-ons — photo booth hire, uplighting and confetti machines are all popular at milestone birthdays.

Milestone Birthday DJ Hire — Common Questions
How long does a birthday DJ usually play for?
Most milestone birthdays run four to five hours, which covers background music through arrivals and dinner, the formalities, and a full dance set afterwards. We can go longer if your venue allows it — just tell us your run sheet and we will build the night around it.
Can we choose the songs ourselves?
Yes. We use Vibo, our interactive music planning app, so you can build a must-play list, flag anything you would rather not hear, and share the link with family and friends so they can add suggestions before the night.
Do you provide an MC as well as a DJ?
We can. Many 50th, 60th and 70th birthdays include speeches, a cake cutting and a toast, and our DJs can handle the announcements and keep the running order on track. Let us know when you enquire and we will include it in your quote.
Can you set up at a private home or a surprise party?
Yes. We regularly play backyards, garages, marquees and function rooms, and we bring everything needed — sound, lighting, microphones and power leads. For a surprise party we will arrive early, set up quietly and coordinate with whoever is running the reveal.
How far in advance should we book?
Weekends in spring and the lead-up to Christmas book out first, so six to twelve months ahead is safest for a Saturday. Shorter notice is often still possible — send us your date and we will tell you straight away whether it is available.
Which areas do you cover?
Sydney and most surrounding suburbs, and we travel further for the right event. If you are outside the metro area, include the venue address in your enquiry and we will confirm travel with your quote.
